A concern towards Nature
Apropos to the increasing climatic aberrations these days, I would like to express my deep concerns regarding the ecological imbalances we are witnessing and its possible aftermaths that we may witness. Something that may sound Anachronistic now-a-days is the past when we read how different species got extinct due to un-favorable conditions and on the theory of survival of the fittest. But, today, have we forgotten the same learning’s as we’ve grown up??? Isn’t that something we should have imbibed in each of us to respect the Mother Nature??? One should not fallow an act of quid-pro-quo with nature. Even if we have to, it should be of a kind without any haste but with a care. Alas, that is not the case. The Nature never expects something real audacious from us, but something that we should more dedicatedly owe ‘Her’ rather than considering it to be bartered merchandise. G-8 (in fact G-13) meetings will never be fruitful till the day its members would continue writing its plans on a piece of priceless yet so valuable paper. We need to understand the importance of trees not by their deforestation but by their growth. One should not forget the significance of a green environment. If the great nations have a dilemma of coming to an amicable solution, why don’t we, the responsible prodigy of Mother Nature do something for Her individually? If in a country like ours, every individual makes up his mind to sow just one tree (sapling) in his life time, it would never make nature choke down with ailments. One should realize that the presence of evidence gives birth to an action, but mere ignorance would only make us regret one day for no action taken. Remember that, it is better to siphon off harmful gases and pollution before Ecological System decides to siphon off humanity from Herself!!!
